Write for the Informant

The Informant is an ANUMSS initiative that aims to engage with students on current advocacy issues affecting medical students, junior doctors, or the general health arena. The journal helps educate students on topical issues by: summarising the various positions; providing background on the different arguments; presenting the positions of the peak advocacy bodies; and letting students know how to get involved with the discussion. Brief articles are invited from ANU medical students on topics that fit within this broad remit.

Why you should write for The Informant:

  • Help educate the student body on topical issues that affect our profession
  • Further develop your policy and advocacy skills
  • Have an opportunity to meet with leaders in the field to discuss your ideas
