Are you growing your reusable shopping bag collection? Are you the type of person who gets annoyed when electricity switches are left turned on when not in use?

Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) is a national organisation comprised of medical students and doctors focused on promoting good health through care of the environment.

As a national organisation with local representation, there’s lots of ways to get involved in the DEA. We run national campaigns and events, including our annual iDEA conference in April (https://www.ideaconference.org.au/). We also run local events at the ANU, including movie nights and other fun activities.

Whether you have been an active environmentalist for years, or have just purchased your first keep cup, there’s heaps to get involved in!

Check out our website if you want to know a bit more about what the DEA does and how you can get involved as a medical student.

If you’re keen to get involved, you can sign up as a member online.

You can also get into contact with us and join our Facebook group.

Get keen and stay green!
